NOTICE

Kieran Wallace and Eamonn Richardson, the duly appointed Joint Special Liquidators of IBRC are in the process of completing the orderly conclusion of the Special Liquidation of IBRC and it is expected that this will be completed by the end of December 2024 following which IBRC will be dissolved.

Since their appointment as Joint Special Liquidators, IBRC has provided a service whereby requests for deeds of release and edischarges have, where appropriate, been executed by IBRC. These include requests for releases in relation to redeemed residential mortgages previously held by Anglo Irish Bank Corporation plc / IBRC or Irish Nationwide Building Society.

With the conclusion of the Special Liquidation and Effective from 20 December 2024, IBRC will no longer be in a position to execute any further releases or edischarges. Therefore, IBRC gives notice that if any party considers that a deed of release or edischarge is required from IBRC, any request for a release must be made by no later than 30 November 2024, in order to ensure that the request is processed before the 20 December 2024.

After this date, any person seeking such documents will need to apply to Tailte Eireann seeking to have any burden discharged from their property folio.
